Pool Inspection

Inspections are a standard part of purchasing a home. Most prospective buyers hire a professional to go through the house, checking plumbing, electrical and engineering to make sure everything is in good condition.

When buying a house with a pool, it’s vital that that part of the purchase receive the same attention. That means it’s time to call in a pool inspector who knows the features and potential pitfalls of a pool.

Our certified pool inspectors are certified and knowledgeable in pools and spas and will look at these certain criteria when conducting a visual inspection of your pool:

  1. Pool Size
  2. Pool Depth
  3. Type of pool materials used in construction, such as poured cement, fiberglass, or vinyl
  4. Age and Manufacturer
  5. Warning signs of potential issues, such as cracks in the surface
  6. Check that railings, ladders and diving boards are built to standard and securely fastened
  7. Filter casing are in good working order and properly installed
  8. Water will also be tested for proper levels of chlorine, calcium, pH, and alkalinity
  9. Check that pumps are working properly and using correct water pressure
  10. Look at the main drain to see if it is up to code.
  11. Check that all motors and pumps are in working order;
  12. The timer system is properly wired and in good working order
  13. The heater works
  14. Check for condensation in any lighting fixtures
  15. Check that wires are properly grounded
  16. Proper safety controls and GFIs are in place
  17. All electrical codes have been followed

All of our inspections will include a detailed report along with pictures of their findings and will be available to the customer in 24 hours of the inspection.
